Instrumental Music Program

Learning an instrument is one of the most powerful ways students can build confidence, discipline and creativity. Research consistently shows that students involved in music develop stronger resilience, social connections and academic outcomes.
Instrumental Music

At Sandringham College, our Instrumental Music Program is designed to inspire a lifelong love of music while supporting students to grow as confident performers and creative thinkers. Students are given the opportunity to develop their skills, perform regularly and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive artistic community within the College.

We offer a broad and diverse range of instruments, with expert tuition tailored to each student’s level and experience. Our program continues to grow, ensuring we meet the interests and aspirations of all students.

Students can access tuition across a wide range of instruments, including:

Performance opportunities

Students in the Instrumental Music Program are encouraged to participate in ensemble groups, rehearsing before or after school, and may also join the College choir.

There are regular opportunities to perform at College events and within the local community, allowing students to build confidence, showcase their progress and be part of a thriving music culture.
