DESCRIPTION:Academy of Performing Arts (Dance) – Enrolment 2027 Academic Year \nSandringham College Academy of Performing Arts Dance (SCAPA) applications will open with the release of enrolment offers on Thursday 25th June close on 23rd July 2027. \n  \nAuditions for 2027 will be held after school on Monday 27th July 2026. \nIf you require additional information or would like to discuss the Dance Academy program please contact Jess Mortlock\, Dance Academy Coordinator\, Phone: (03) 8599 0500 \nOur Academy of Performing Arts (Dance) Academy is a pre-professional dance training program for talented students aged 12 to 18 years. Students participate in weekly classical ballet; jazz; contemporary; hip hop; and pilates classes alongside their core academic subjects\, receiving elite technical training to prepare them for VCE and VET dance as well as a career in the performing arts. \n

Students receive a specialised and accelerated curriculum with focus a on individual needs. \nUnits that are studies across Years 7-9 include Fitness; Mental Health; Sports Psychology; Body Systems; Coaching; Sportsmanship; and Injury Management.
