If you are considering enrolment at our College, please read through our steps for students and families wishing to join our secondary school.
Steps to Enrol
Year 7

Primary schools are responsible for ensuring each Year 6 student has a place in a secondary school for Year 7. The transition process through the primary schools begins in May the preceding year. The Department of Education and Training’s South East Regional Office helps schools with the transition process.

If you wish to enrol into Year 7 once the school year has commenced, you will need to apply using the 8-12 academic entry online application form (use button below). Alternatively, you may like to contact our school registrar with any enquiries.

SEAL Program

The Select Entry Academic Learning (SEAL) program addresses the needs of those students who are of high intellectual potential and display a range of exceptional abilities across their studies.

Students wishing to enrol into this program must sit the SEAL exam. Parents / Carers must also follow DET procedures regarding enrolment from Grade 6 into Year 7 completing the required placement documentation and listing Sandringham College as their first preference.

Year 8-12 Academic

Entry into Years 8 – 12 is by application. If you are considering enrolment at any time of year or for the following, please complete the online enrolment form and return it with two recent school reports and a birth certificate or passport. Alternatively, you may like to contact our school registrar with any enquiries.

Year 10-12 VCAL

Our VCAL program is extremely popular and places are limited. Enrolment into VCAL (Years 10-12) is available in Term 2 / Term 3 to commence in the following year. Please complete the online enrolment form. Alternatively, you may like to contact our school registrar with any enquiries.

International

Application to study as an International Student must be made through the Department of Education and Training CRICOS Provider Code 00861K. Applications will be considered for students with an academic average of 80%+. Students applying for direct entry into VCE require a minimum IELTS score of 6+.
